Note: This may look different, depending on the program or app you are using.
Step 3
Select the Printer. Find an option that reads “Print to PDF”. Click on “Print to PDF”.
Note: This may appear different, depending on the program or app you are using. In this example, it reads “Microsoft Print to PDF”.
Step 4
Select the “Pages” option. From here you can enter the pages you want to split.
Tips:
To split only one page, type the page number of the page you want to split out.
To split a range of pages, type a page number, then a dash (no spaces), then the last page number.
Example: If the document is 20 pages and you want to split out the first 10 pages, type in “1-10”.
To split select pages, type the page numbers separated by commas.
Example: “1,3,5”
Step 5
Click “Print”. A new window will appear allowing you to name the document and select where to save the split file. Type in the new file name.
Step 6
Click the “Save” button.
The file is now saved.
Note: You can now open the new file by opening the File Explorer and clicking on the new document name.
